ONTARIO

The famous CN Tower, the largest free-standing tower in the world, stands loftily in downtown Toronto, Ontario.

	I took a ride in a private plane over downtown Brockville during a summer 2005 air show. This was the perfect opportunity to try out aerial imaging with my camera! Despite the limited field of view, I did mange to get some pretty nice images, including this one, of the Brockville water tower surrounded by a residential portion of the town.
	Yes, at first, this was very scary! The black blob at the lower left is my foot. I was stepping on the glass floor of the CN tower; the only thing keeping me from falling many storeys to the ground directly below. Many people were lying down on the glass, individually, and in groups. I can certainly see the allure of doing so!
	The CN Tower towers over the sky-scrapers in downtown Toronto. There is a broadcasting antenna at the very top. When this antenna was added, the CN Tower became the tallest free-standing building in the world.
	The CN Tower towers over a construction site that was located across the street from it. This is an interesting lesson in perspective!
